Join us for this brand new class on the 7th December at Food Envy. We will fermenting some pretty amazing condiments and festive sauerkraut that will take your dishes to the next level. Just on time to share with your loved ones this Xmas 🙂
Fermented Condiments and Festive Kraut workshop 5.30pm – 7.30pm Food Envy
In this fermented condiments and festive kraut workshop, you will learn about the principles of fermentation and why eating these wonder foods is so important to be in good mental and physical health. We will also be fermenting some pretty amazing condiments and festive sauerkraut that will take your dishes to the next level. Just on time to share with your loved ones this Xmas!
What you will learn in the class:
– We’ll be talking about the magic of fermentation, why microbes are so awesome and how fermentation can help us improve our gut and overall health.
– You will learn to make your own Sauerkraut with an array of festive ingredients provided.
– We will also be fermenting a few different condiments using various techniques and cultures.
Materials for this class will be supplied. All you need to bring is a 1L clip top jar for your kraut, a grater and any other small jars you may have for the condiments.
Homemade lacto-fermented snacks will be served at the end of the class. There will also be a lot of samples of yummy condiments to try. You’ll be able to take home your kraut and condiments ready to ferment and another one of my crafty handouts full of useful information and never ending inspiration!
